Leading physicians turn to the radiological services offered at both Piedmont Columbus Regional Midtown Campus and Piedmont Columbus Regional Northside Campus to help diagnose and treat their patients. So whether you’re undergoing a test as an inpatient or visiting our radiology department as an outpatient, rest assured that you’re being cared for by experienced professionals using leading-edge technology.
Our radiology department is staffed by skilled technicians and physicians who use state-of-the-art technology, including computed tomography scans (CT scans), large bore magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), ultrasound, X-rays and nuclear medicine in their diagnoses and treatments. With positron emission tomography scans (PET scans), our team uses radioactive tracers to create 3D images that can detect diseases such as cancer. Our interventional radiologists use intra-arterial therapy to remove brain clots from stroke patients. We’re even treating cancer using Y-90 embolization to target and attack tumors in the liver.
For outpatient radiology services at Piedmont Columbus Regional Midtown Campus, come to the information desk in our main entrance lobby. Check in there, and someone from registration will direct you to the radiology department, also located on the lobby level. (NOTE: Interventional radiology and PET scans are only available at the Piedmont Columbus Regional Midtown Campus.)
For outpatient radiology services at Piedmont Columbus Regional Northside Campus visit the information desk located at our main entrance. After checking in, a team member from registration will direct you to the radiology department just down the hall.
